Shuart Farm: Wheatear (2), Swallow (5), Redstart (1), Blackcap (1), Chiffchaff (1), Spotted Flycatcher (1), Ring-necked Parakeet (3). Ramsgate (King George VI Park): Pied Flycatcher (1 or 2), Chiffchaff (4) and lots of Parakeets.

Kingsferry Bridge: Avocet (20), Little Egret (2), Swallow (2) and Great Spotted Woodpecker (1). Seasalter: Kingfisher (1) and Little Egret (24). Shuart Farm: Chiffchaff (2), Long-tailed Tit (20) and Buzzard (1). Ramsgate: Wheatear (1) and Mediterranean Gull (1 adult).

Oare: Early morning visit before work. Whinchat (2), Wheatear (3), Avocet (16), Bar-tailed Godwit (2), Common Tern (1), a single ring-tail Hen Harrier feeding on the Sheppey side of the Swale, Marsh Harrier (2), Kingfisher (1), Cetti's Warbler (heard) and a small number of Swallows moving through.

Oare: Popped down to Oare this morning to have a look at the Glossy Ibis found at this site yesterday. Also saw Little Egret (8), Avocet (2), Marsh Harrier (1) and Ruff (3).
Motney: Looking after the children in Gillingham today, so Brenda and I drove down to Motney this afternoon to watch the waders moving up on the rising tide. Also saw an adult Mediterranean Gull, Swallows (many) and heard a single Chiffchaff calling.

Dungeness: Prior to attending the KOS E&RC meeting, a quick look on the RSPB ARC turned up 2 Black Terns, Yellow Wagtail, Sparrowhawk, 3 Little Egret, 2 Little Ringed Plover and 2 Marsh Harrier. While attending the meeting, Brenda visited the nearby RSPB reserve and enjoyed further views of the juvenile Red-backed Shrike also seeing Wheatear and more Yellow Wagtails.

Dungeness: Juvenile Red-backed Shrike (1), Whitethroat (4), Great White Egret (1), Little Egret (6), Sand Martin (30), Yellow Wagtail (3), Little Ringed Plover (5), immature Little Gull (1), Marsh Harrier (1), Reed Warbler (1), Sedge Warbler (1). The sea produced Black Tern (3), Common Tern (40) and a couple of Black Redstarts on the power station perimeter fence.
